Wolferl: The Salzburg Hidden-Object Picture Book and other Projects
“Alle suchen Wolferl” is a hidden-object book about the city of Salzburg, where readers can learn fascinating and amusing facts about Salzburg’s art and culture. I designed the character Wolferl based on young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a significant symbol of Salzburg. His mission is to share knowledge about art and culture.
In addition to the book, the Wolferl project includes other products, such as the Festival Hidden-Object Poster, which features the Felsenreitschule and offers even more interesting insights.
Hardcover Picture Book
“Alle suchen Wolferl” is a high-quality hardcover picture book. It contains eight hidden-object illustrations of different locations in Salzburg, along with dedicated knowledge pages where some of the characters share their stories.
The book was produced by Samson Druck, a printing company in the Lungau region, making it a truly regional product. With its sturdy, coated, and matte paper, it is perfect for children’s hands.

More Than Just a Book
The Wolferl Project is more than just a hidden-object book. Its goal is to share knowledge about art and culture – primarily through hidden-object illustrations but also through the story’s characters: Wolferl, Nannerl, Herr Star, and more.
Beyond the book, additional products are being developed, including the Festival Hidden-Object Poster, which showcases the Felsenreitschule and is filled with fascinating cultural insights.
