About the book

“All die besten Dinge!” tells the immoral story of a boy who skilfully steals from the people around him. It may harm them, but it makes him happy because he gets “all the best things”. Theft, child abduction and even robbery and murder are beautifully packaged and presented as harmless in this picture book. Told through four episodic adventures, the story explores the benefits of greed and selfishness.

Originally created as a research project, the book is now available to purchase. If it is read with children, a critical discussion of its content is strongly recommended.
